Local club culture is not built by well-known names alone. It depends on emerging DJs, technicians, bartenders, door staff, photographers, visual artists, collectives and audiences. Every part of that network contributes to events taking place and new ideas having room to develop.

Supporting a scene therefore means more than liking a post. It begins with buying a ticket, ordering a drink at the bar, treating staff respectfully and choosing to attend smaller events. It also means taking local artists seriously before international recognition tells everyone else to do so.
